Raymond Sipos was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1938. Sipos earned a Bachelor of Science degree at California Polytechnic State College and then worked as a mechanisms and optics engineer for Jet Propulsion Laboratory before becoming a full-time artist in 1972. His paintings have been mass produced into prints.
